How to work Super-C & Retinol Serum into any Nutrimetics routine
Here is the Restore regime as an example. Apply at night, after cleansing and toning to clean, dry skin. Smooth one pump of serum evenly over face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Allow a moment for the serum to absorb into the skin, then follow with your usual night crème or moisturiser.
- Use in place of your usual serum for four weeks.
- Wait one month before resuming treatment.
- If you have sensitive skin and have patch tested, start using every third or second night and build-up skin tolerance to use every night.

Q. Can I use this serum if I’m pregnant?
A: The level of Retinol in this Serum is safe for use during pregnancy, however if you are pregnant ensure you consult with your doctor before beginning any new skincare treatment.
Q. Why do I need to wear sunscreen during the day whilst using this serum?
A: When first using Retinol treatments, it’s common for skin irritation and redness to occur, so we recommend you build-up use gradually. Start with a couple of applications a week initially before building-up to nightly usage. Retinol can cause skin to become more sensitive to sun exposure as it promotes cell turnover and renewal. Always apply SPF 50 in the daytime. Retinol products should only ever be used at night.
Q. Why do I use Super-C & Retinol Serum for 28 days?
A: Our skin consists of three layers: the epidermis, the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue. The epidermis is the outer layer, which undergoes constant renewal every 28 days. This cell turnover slows down as we age, which is why it is important to encourage this process by using products like this super serum to promote cell turnover. Wait one month in-between treatments.
